Demion formed in the early 90's originally a quartet after losing one member to personal differences. They were pretty much forced to be a trio. A lot of practices led them to their first club gig. Which was fortunately opening up for Deicide. The show went well, the response from the crowd was overwhelming. After the Deicide gig differences between the band arouse, and again another member had to leave. This time it was the drummer. After losing their drummer Demion (Chris and Avie) was put in limbo. Many auditions brought no new line up. It looked bleak but still the search continued. A year passed and it seemed as though they would never find a drummer.
Chris fortunately met a drummer named Ron at a local music store in San Jose. They exchanged phone numbers, but lost contact. It seemed the curse was at it again. Later the next year Chris saw an add "Drummer available", jotted down the number and called the next day. To his surprise this was the guy he met a year ago. An audition was set up. They clicked and Avie and Chris decided this was the guy. Everything was suddenly falling into place. But yet in the back of there minds they knew the curse would work its evil ways. Throughout the band's history there has always been this unseen force fighting them and holding them back "The Curse". Though the curse still looms overhead Demion is stronger than ever, ready to fight the curse with open arms and clinched fists.
Demion is currently in the studio recording there first Demo together entitled …the coming of evil… soon to be finished and out to the public. The band's website WWW.Demion.org is also under construction offering downloadable music and gig dates plus member profiles and contact info. Demion is San Jose's premier Death Metal band. Offering a raw technical/Groove death metal, and an on stage presence can that not be matched. Look for upcoming shows and their long awaited Demo release …the coming of evil…
